About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a high-performing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments.

  • Type:  Contract
  • Hours: Full-time, Core hours 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Location: Onsite with parking available

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts inbox, including sorting, filing, and renaming emails.
  • Import invoices and statements into the Docuware system.
  • Respond to email and phone queries from suppliers.
  • Supplier maintenance and creation in Tencia, including supplier verification in Eftsure.
  • Process supplier invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Electronically stamp and file paid invoices.
  • Assist with credit applications and submissions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Windows Explorer.
  • Prior experience with Tencia and Office Base is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong reconciliation skills.
