Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a high-profile mining project. This role is based in Brisbane and involves contributing mechanical engineering expertise to support project design, planning, and implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

– Design and implement mechanical systems and equipment to meet project requirements.
– Collaborate with project teams to ensure all mechanical engineering aspects align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
– Conduct technical evaluations, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with engineering codes and safety regulations.
– Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues throughout the project lifecycle, optimizing performance and reliability.
– Support project planning by providing input on materials, equipment specifications, and cost estimates.

About You

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
– Experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within mining, resources, or heavy industry.
– Strong technical skills, including knowledge of mechanical design, systems, and industry standards.
– Effective problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
